Crutchfield Corporation Joins E-Duction's CLEAR Budgeting Plan
CLEAR Cardholders Now Have Six Months to Pay, Interest-Free for the Best in Consumer Electronics and Service

10/16/03

BLUE BELL, PA, October 16, 2003 — E-Duction, Inc., the provider of CLEAR, a financial program that improves the work/life balance of America's employees, today announced an agreement with Crutchfield Corporation, the leading nationwide provider of direct consumer electronics, to offer Crutchfield products and services through CLEAR's Budgeting Plan. Employees of companies that offer the CLEAR program now have the option to pay for Crutchfield merchandise interest-free over six months, with payments automatically deducted from their paychecks.

Offering the ultimate in financial convenience, CLEAR is a payment card that allows employees to purchase products and services worldwide and pay for them via payroll deduction. Most purchases are paid back over a two-month period, interest-free. Since payments are made automatically through payroll deduction, late fees and interest charges are eliminated.

CLEAR's Budgeting Plan is an added benefit that allows CLEAR cardholders to pay for certain purchases from a network of select merchants over six months, interest-free. This means that a CLEAR cardholder, who makes a $400 electronics purchase from Crutchfield, will have $31 automatically deducted from the next 13 paychecks, assuming they are paid bi-weekly.

"We are delighted to have Crutchfield join the other world-class merchants in CLEAR's Budgeting Plan. Our cardholders will appreciate the convenience of paying for electronics over an extended period of time, and will benefit from the tremendous support and service that Crutchfield is known for," begins Kirk Watkins, CEO of E-Duction. "Our client companies will appreciate Crutchfield's addition to the Budgeting Plan because they want to help employees better manage their work/life balance."
