Former American Express CEO joins Board
of E-Duction, Inc.
Jim D. Robinson III brings expertise to new alternative employee
benefit company

Philadelphia, September 27, 2000 - E-Duction, Inc.,
the provider of a new alternative employee benefit payroll-deduction
program, proudly announces the appointment of Jim D. Robinson III
to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Robinson is a Founder and General Partner at RRE Ventures, which
most recently led E-Duction, Inc.'s latest round of venture funding.
He currently serves as a Director of several companies, including
Bristol-Myers Squibb, the Coca-Cola Company, Cambridge Technology
Partners and others. He is also a Director and Chairman of the Executive
Committee of First Data Corporation and non-executive Chairman of
Violy, Byorum & Partners Holdings.
Mr. Robinson served as Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer of the American Express Company from 1977-1993, and held
a series of executive positions with the company from 1970 to 1976.
Prior to joining American Express, he was a General Partner at White,
Weld & Co. from 1968 to 1970, with responsibilities for venture
capital and corporate financial activities. He began his career
at Morgan Guaranty in 1961, serving as an officer of various departments
within the bank, including assistant to the Chairman during 1966-1967.
